Reversible Utility Trailer Door Latch That Can Be Used On Right Or Left Swinging Door
Published 08/28/2025 >
Question:
I noticed the handle has a bend to it. If I want to put this on a left-hand swinging door that is midsized, will it still work?

Great eye, Aaron. The handle is slightly bent for clearance, but the whole 55" latch assembly # M363FR is reversible. You simply mount it mirrored - the rods, keepers, and handle bracket all flip orientation so it works on either a left or right hand swing door. No special parts needed.
You said the trailer door is midsized. This latch is 55", so if it's too big for your door, there's always the 45" version # M343FR.
What kind of trailer is this going on, Aaron?
