Installation Instructions for the Replacement #24 PT Rubber Shear Spring for MORryde Suspension

Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 08/26/2025

Question:

I just purchased 2 of these, arriving on Friday. I am having a RV/Truck repair place install and was looking for directions. I cannot find anything on the internet except the owners manual, which does not show how to install. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hey Glenn, welcome back. I found some installation instructions for the Replacement #24 PT Rubber Shear Spring for MORryde Trailer and RV Suspension Systems item # MR95UR and have linked them below. You need a porta power or a ball joint press to complete the installation so that's good you're having a professional do the work.

What kind of motorhome do you have?

Hey Glenn, did the installation go smoothly with the professional's help? I'm curious to know how it turned out, as it could give others confidence when getting their suspension systems installed.

@JerredH We made it back home without getting installed (Labor Day weekend), but did not have any problems. Just got installed this week by a local trailer shop (Advantage Trailer in Carol Stream, IL). They seemed to have done a good job and at a reasonable price. I was never able to find install directions, but I was able to find directions for the wet bolt install with the MorRyde shear springs, so I think that helped them. Basically, jack up the 5th wheel on 4 jack stands and then take the weight off each axle with jacks and then unbolt the old and put in the new. I think it took 2 techs about 5-6 hours.

@GlennK Glad you got the item # MR95UR installed. Did your repair place need you to find the installation instructions for them?
