Hello, I am getting a curt CMF13395 hitch and curt CMF56406 for my 2022 Jeep Cherokee Lux. Can you recommend a flexible ball mount and hitch ball for length and and ball size that maximizes my flexibility for different trailer types? Thank you.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13395 and Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56406 are definitely good fits for your 2022 Jeep Cherokee Lux. The hitch measured 14" off the ground when we installed it and with the typical trailer coupler measuring 18" off the ground, you will want something with roughly 4 to 5 inches of rise to be level.
With that said, the TowSmart Adjustable Tri-Ball Mount - 1-7/8", 2", 2-5/16" Balls - Aluminum # TS74VR has everything you need. It has all 3 standard ball sizes (1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16") and a maximum drop of 5-5/8" or a maximum rise of 6-1/2", which can be adjusted in 1" increments. I think this will be the perfect option for you!
Do you know if any of the trailers you will be towing have electric brakes?
