I have a 96 winnebago adventure and was wondering if this would work to upgrade and Aldo be able to use both of my air-conditioning units

Hey Mark, the Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel - 60 Amp # PD4560K18LS8 is a very popular upgrade and will do a great job of updating your 96 Winnebago Rv.

That said, the Air Conditioners typically runs off AC power, which comes from shore power or generator power. This panel can handle 50A shore power which is enough to run 2 air conditioners, but you'll need to make sure your RV is wired for 50A. If it's just 30A that's going to be right at the limit to run 2 small air conditioners and it won't be enough.

Here's how you can check if you have 30A or 50A
-30A RV Shore Power Plug: 3 prongs (flat blade, round neutral, round ground), NEMA TT-30 style. Thick black cord but smaller than a 50A.
-50A RV Shore Power Plug: 4 prongs (two angled hot blades, one straight neutral, one round ground), NEMA 14-50 style. Much thicker, heavier cord.

Another way is to Check the Breaker Panel Label Inside
-On a 30A coach, you’ll see one main 30A breaker feeding all branch circuits.
-On a 50A coach, you’ll see a double-pole 50A breaker (or two tied together), because it’s fed by two 120V “legs.”
