Question:
Gday eTrailer team, I need a replacement 12v power supply for my Jayco Eagle HT. It currently has PD4560K18NS2B installed. I was looking at the Progressive Dynamics website and they hav a new version PD4560CSV that has a switch to change the charge voltage profile from lead acid to Li batteries. This is a new feature shown on their website eTrailer makes no mention that I can find about this feature here PD4560CSV. My questions are, is this indeed a direct replacement for my old unit and if so, are your units the newer style with the profile switch? Cheers

Hey Justin!
With the current Progressive Dynamics REL 60A 4500 Series Inteli-Power Converter Section # PD4560CSV you'll either need to make a jumper or you'll just need to go with the Converter Section # PD4560LICSV instead, so your power center can handle the Lithium battery style.
To be able to completely switch between both modes you'll need a whole new power center with the part # PD4560K18LS8.

Thanks for your reply Jon G. I have good lead acid batteries at the moment that are quite new, however I would like to future proof my install. You mentioned making a jumper for the PD4560CSV to change the charge profile. Can you point me in the direction of some instructions on how to do this as I think this is the better option for me? Also, is the PD4560CSV a direct replacement for what I already have? (I currently have a dead PD4560K as mentioned above) Cheers Justin
