Does Furrion Chill Cube RV AC Thermostat Have Ability to Control Furnace

Question:

I installed the Furrion Chill Cube ducted AC and need to control my furnace with the Dometic heat only analog thermostat which is replacing the dometic CT single zone thermostat. There were three wires on the CT but the analog one only requires the ground and hot wires which are connected to the W and R terminals, respectively, on the analog version. Now the furnace wont turn on. Can you tell if Ive installed correctly by this description? Have I missed something?

Hey Douglas, did your Furrion Chill Cube come with a wall thermostat? That thermostat has ability to control a furnace so you might go that route. A furnace control is typically just two or even sometimes one wire.

My Chill Cube does not have a wall thermostat, it has the remote. My understanding was that I needed an analog thermostat for the furnace so I installed the dometic heat only thermostat but my furnace doesn't turn on now.

@DouglasL You can add a wall thermostat with the part # LC74DX which for sure would fix your issue and also would only require you to have a single thermostat. Is that something you'd be interested in or do you want to make work what you have?

So I ordered the wall thermostat LC74DX and installed and get the E3 error code as expected since I would only be using it for heat. I have dip 2 in the on position and the other 3 are off. I have power to the thermostat, but it still will not turn on the furnace when it gets to the set temperature. I am at a loss for what to do next. I think it has to do with the comms between the thermostat and the furnace.
