Made very cheap. When we took it out of box it was bent in 2 places. Very disappointing to pay this much and not be pleased. Went ahead and mounted it but I will be looking for another one.

That unit lasted about one week, I was so disappointed, should have sent it back but I ended up throwing it in the garbage, this product is junk.

We received the CAM7305 and are happy with it and it looks like it will be just the size that we need for when we are out on the road with our RV. When we unpacked it and checked it out we found that the latch is faulty and called Camco. They requested a picture sent to them and it stated that they would send us a new one.
Does exactly what it’s intended for - lighting gas appliances. Note that this unit produces continuous sparks when triggered, and does not make or sustain a flame of its own.
It seemed every time I tried to light the camp grill & stove, the starter was either it was out fuel, or the wind was blowing. No problem with this igniter. No fuel. It’s works by sparking. Similar to a piezo starter. Just pull the trigger and the sparking clicks until you let go of the trigger. We use it when camping. It’s great. I highly recommend it.
