Question:
Hello, I am looking to upgrade my fifth wheel equilizer and shackles. I have a 2018 Heritage Glen 356QB and am not sure which one to go with. I do know I am leaning towards greaseable shackle straps. I was wondering if someone could provide recommendations on a good upgrade. Thank you so much for your time and support.

Hey Anthony. There is no database that shows me what equalizer you have on your trailer so the best way for me to find a replacement is for you to take a couple of measurements of yours.
You'll want to measure the distance at the bottom of your current equalizers from the left to right center of the bolt holes and then from the middle of the top hole down to the center line of the other two holes.
As far as greaseable wet bolts go, I highly recommend going this route. It makes maintenance extremely easy and the suspension bolts will last quite a bit longer and perform better.
You will also want to measure your shackle straps and go with the option closest to your size. If you have 2-1/4" long shackles you will need the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long item # MR46ZR, and if your shackles are 3-1/8" long you will need the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" item # MR98ZR. Both of these kits include heavy duty 1/2" thick shackle straps, wet bolts, nuts, and bronze bushings.
You can add these measurements and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
