Will the Kuat Beta Bike Rack Clear the Spare Tire on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

I have a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4 door hybrid. 4xe. Will the B202-114 clear the back tire? The distance from the Mount hole to the end of the spare tire is a little over 10 inches. If I need an extender, do you offer that part? Thank you

Hey Alan, thanks for reaching out!
According to Kuat, the Kuat Beta Bike Rack # B202-114 alone won't be long enough to clear the spare tire, but I've got some alternatives I'd like to tell you about:
What I recommend doing is getting the RockyMounts Hitch Extender LS w/ Hitch Pin and Lock # RKY10011 and using that with the Kuat Beta # B202-2 designed for 2" hitches so that you get an extra 8" of clearance to your spare tire. Both RockyMounts and Kuat will say not to use this combination because they aren't branded the same, but these are simple parts so the only way you'll have an issue with either one is if you overload them with weight.
Another option is to use the 2" Beta with the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVP20B so you clear the spare tire AND can swing the bike rack away (loaded up!) to gain easy access to the back of your Jeep. We've actually used this extender on a 2024 4xe and shot a video of it that I'm linking for you to check out. It's definitely not the cheapest route to take, but it will make your life a lot easier if you plan on keeping the rack on your Jeep full time.
