Will Swagman Swivel and Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender Fit Below 2025 Wrangler Sport Spare

I was going to get either the swag an swivel hitch or kuat pivot v2 and place it on a jeep wrangler sport 2025. I measured fro. The hitch center line to the bottom of my spare tire and its a little over 5 inches. Will I have enough clearance for either hitch to clear the spare tire or would I need to move the tire carrier up?

Hey Glen! The Swagman Swivel Hitch Extender # S86SR will definitely fit with that much space. The Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVP20B will be really close so you would need a more precise measurement. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the top of the extender is 5-3/16" so just a little over 5" like you said.
The Swivel can be set up to swing left or right. If you want to use the Pivot 2 and have it swing to the driver's side you will need # PVD20B instead.
Are you using this for a bike rack or something else?

Received the Kuat swing hitch and it fit's on our 2025 Jeep Wrangler Sport with the stock spare tire (31.5"dia). It's tight with maybe a 1-4" to 1/2" to spare but works great. So if anyone else is in the same situation, it fits! I will be using a cargo carrier for hauling coolers, mulch, storage tubs, etc. and this hitch will make that extremely convienant.
