Updated 08/15/2025 | Published 07/17/2025

Question:

I have a Reese 350 Mini Weight Distribution Kit, and the friction pads are worn out. I found out they’ve been discontinued, and I’d like to know what I can use as a replacement.

Hello Danny,

I really wish I had a better answer for you, but there are not any other pads that are going to be compatible with your Reese 350 Mini Weight Distribution Kit, they would need to be custom made usually using brake lining material or rubberized friction pads used in industrial machinery.

We recommend going with a new system, the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 4,000 lbs GTW, 400 lbs TW # EQ37040ET is an excellent system, and you will not need to worry about friction pads in the future.

What kind or trailer are you hauling with your weight distribution hitch?
