Info Needed Needed to Pick Out Replacement Hubs for 1989 Pontoon Boat Trailer
Updated 08/07/2025 | Published 07/15/2025 >
Question:
I have a 1989 Bass Tracker pontoon boat trailer. The bolt pattern is 5 on 5 1/2 with a 10” rim. I found the replacement tires and rims here on etrailer, but I’m having a hard time finding the replacement hubs. It is a tapered spindle. I’m thinking it’s Part Number: AKIHUB-555-35-K, but I’m just not sure. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey Justin, due to your age of trailer/axle it can be pretty hard sometimes to find a hub that will fit as it wasn't until around mid-90's or so that things got standardized and stayed the same. There is still hope though but you will need to pull a hub off your axle and get me the bearing numbers out of it. With that info I can see if there is a current hub that would work.

Hey Justin, did you manage to pull the hub off your axle and find the bearing numbers? I'm really curious to know if you were able to find a hub that fits your trailer, as it could help others with similar older models.
