What Transmission Cooler do I Need for My 2016 Volvo XC90?

Question:

Hello, I am looking to add an auxiliary transmission cooler to my 2016 Volvo XC90 T6 Inscription for towing duty. Per this page on your site - https://www.etrailer.com/question-618714.html you recommend the Derale 8000 series part number D13101, but when I look at the actual product on your website the fitment notes say it won’t fit my XC90. Can you advise if this is correct, and/or if another auxiliary transmission cooler is recommended? Many thanks!

Hello Adam,

Please do not tell Jerrod I ever said this, but he is right. The transmission coolers are universal fit...... pretty much. We have the dimensions listed on the product pages for the coolers so you can make sure that size will work for you. I attached an image of the dimensions so you can make sure the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class IV - Efficient # D13504 is the right fit for you.

Are you towing something with your XC90 and that is why you are looking to add a cooler, or live in a hot climate area?
