Hello, I have a 2025 Chevy 3500 with a Curt A20 hitch. I need to replace the legs that went with my old track system to fit in my new truck with the tow prep package. Which legs do I need to order please? Thank you!

Hey Todd, congrats on the new truck. Since your 2025 Chevy 3500 has the factory puck system, you'll need the Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package item #CU53FR. These will drop directly down into the factory pucks and allow you to secure your A20 hitch.

Please note you will need to reuse the hardware on your current Curt A20 hitch like item # C16140 to attach the new legs item # CU53FR.

What kind of trailer do you have?

Thank you for your reply! When I first spoke with someone I was directed to the legs and received 16029 legs which for my truck but the holes in the legs are too small for the bolts in my A20 hitch. Also the legs on my A20 hitch only have 2 bolts that go on the outside holes and the legs have 2 steel fingers that fit into the 2 inside holes instead of 2 additional bolts. Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package item #CU53FR which you reference above appear to be similar to the 16029 OEM legs I received. When looking further I found this: Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package. Hoping I can get clarity to order what is necessary. Again thank you for all of your help!

@Todd The Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs item # CU53FR are the same as the pn 16029. We just use a different item number for inventory and pricing. Do you have a part number off of your Curt A20 hitch head? The item # CU53FR fits A20 hitch heads that look like item # C16540. The Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package item # C88KR will allow you to mount any 5th wheel hitch that attaches to industry standard rails to the puck system in your 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500. The only drawback is that this adapter adds 3-1/2" of height to your 5th wheel hitch.
