Hello Eldon, thanks for reaching out. The Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II # BX88225 can indeed be used on your 2023 Chevy 1500 as long as it has a 2-1/2" receiver. It will work on virtually any standard 2-1/2" hitch receiver. The Immobilizer II is especially nice because it provides both horizontal and vertical tension.
