Im wondering what the dimensions are of this tailgate.VGD-02-4000 I am extra interested in the width of the gap in the middle as I am thinking of this tailgate to haul a kayak for fishing

The Stromberg Carlson 5th Wheel Tailgate part # VGD-02-4000 has the cutout dimensions of 41-1/4 inches wide at the top, 12 inches tall, and at the bottom is right at 20 inches.
