Question:

I have an opportunity I cant really pass up. A Stromberg Carlson 5th wheel tailgate off a 1999 Dodge 2500. I have a 2006 Dodge 3500 with a banged up 5th wheel tailgate that needs replacing. Will the gate off the 1999 fit on my 2006?

Well I hate to tell you but the 5th wheel tailgates for a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 will not fit a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500. They require different models/designs.

For the 2006 you can use # VGD-02-100.

We also have Stromberg Carlson 4000 series # VGD-02-4000 that will fit your 2006.
