Question:

Hi, I need to replace the hand rail on my 2019 Lance TT model 1985. It had a 4 hole design 8 total screws and unfortunately its now ruined. What are your recommendations for replacement? It looks like the standard Lend a hand that I see online but as far as I can tell they are all 2 or 3 hole models.

Hello Mike,

It looks like most of the hand rails used to be a 8 screw design, but is now a 4 screw design. I attached an image of the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle for RVs - Silver Rail with Black Foam Grip - Aluminum # AM-300 of the old design so you can see how it used to use 8 screws.

The Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle for RVs - Silver Rail with Black Foam Grip - Aluminum # AM-300 you were looking at would be a great option, or we also have it in white # AM-200. When I look at pictures of what came on your Lance, this one looks the most like it.

I would just seal up the old holes and start fresh.

Hey Mike, Did you decide to go with the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle for your Lance? I'm curious to know if sealing up the old holes and starting fresh worked out for you. Your experience could really help others facing the same issue!
