Tips for Installing Replacement Foam Grip with Hardware for Lend-a-Hand Grab Handle

Question:

How do I get this rubber replacement onto the lend a hand grab handle I saw a reference to an air hose but the reviewer did not explain what or how he did the install with an air hose I cannot find any information about how to install this rubber grip?

To install the Replacement Foam Grip with Hardware for Lend-a-Hand Grab Handles for RVs # FP-1001-R that you referenced will require you to remove the handle from the mounts of the RV. You'll want a ratchet/socket plus a wrench to do this. Once the handle is removed you'll be able to remove the old grip by any means needed. You can cut it off, rip it off, or slide it off based on what makes the most sense.

So the new grip is going to be pretty tight and might seem difficult to slide onto the handle. If you access to compressed air you can blow air underneath the grip so that it inflates partially on the handle and allows you to easily slide it into place.
