Which Weigh Safe Ball Mounts Are Made In America?

Is this hitch made in America? If not, are any Weighsafe hitches made in America?

Thanks for reaching out Mike!

I spoke to Weigh Safe and only their Cerakote aluminum ball mounts are made in the USA. All other steel and aluminum ball mounts, including the steel 180 PRO models, are manufactured overseas. If you wanted an American made option from them that matches the rise and drop of the # WS83RR you were looking at, you will want the Weigh Safe 180 Hitch 2-Ball Mount for 2.5" Hitch - 6" Drop/7" Rise - 18.5K - Cerakote # WS72VR. It does have a lower capacity of 18,500 though, so keep that in mind.

However, if you want American made and a higher capacity than that, check out the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2-1/2" Hitch - 6" Drop/Rise # 325-GH-1623. This has a 32,000 pound capacity and a drop or rise of 6". It is a little more expensive, but it's really nice and checks all the boxes.
