Question:
I have a hullavator that is 10 years old. The pads that the kayaks sit on is getting old and is shedding guey black stuff on my boats. Is there a replacement for them, or do I need to replace the entire arm?

Hi Jay; to replace those you will need the Replacement Cradle Assembly for Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier - Bottom # 7521772001 and Top # 7521771001. Thule only offers the complete cradle assembly. If you're going to replace all of them you might want to consider upgrading to the # TH898, especially if you have the model that is limited to square crossbars.

Hey Jay, did you decide to replace the cradle assembly or upgrade to the Thule Hullavator Pro? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others facing the same issue with their kayak carriers.
