Question:

I have a customers trailer here that has a TDE-660 hydraulic actuator and was wondering if the demco DM72VR would be a good replacement for the TDE-660

Hello Keith,

Yes, the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM72VR will work great for replacing the TDE-660 Hydraulic Actuator. The bolt holes are even 3" apart, just like the one you are replacing. The only real difference is that the Demco is rated a little higher at 7K instead of 6,600 pounds like the TDE.

What kind of boat trailer are you working on? My boats in the shop as well, but I am waiting for my new Yamaha engine to come in. After fixing the old motor multiple times it will be nice to have something reliable once again =)

We are currently working on a Sun Tracker trailer with a pontoon boat on it.

@Keith With how hot it got here in Missouri, I could use a pontoon boat and a lake. If you have any other questions Keith, you know where to find us. -Be safe out there!
