Hey Jude,
You can definitely replace the Kodiak brakes you have on your trailer with DeeMaxx as long as they are the same size and rating. From everything you mentioned the DeeMaxx # DE49YR is going to be a good replacement. It is the same bolt patterns and wheel bolt diameter, and I checked on the Kodiak brakes so they have the same brake flange configuration as well.
What kind of trailer are you putting these on?

A 2015 DRV Tradition 385res 5th wheel. Original owner got the Kodiak Disc Brake upgrade at purchase time. Discs are heavily pitted and need to be replaced. I prefer the design of the DeeMaxx disc, but having recently changed ALL of the Kodiak calipers, ig prefer not to completely change everything else if DeeMaxx 7000-8000# discs will work with the Kodiak 7000# bracket and calipers.
