Are Taillights STL8RGB and STL9RGB a Set? What Butt Connectors and Shrink Wrap do I Need?

Hi Are taillights STL8RGB and STL9RGB a set of the same manufacturers lights? One is driver side and other is passenger side... Do they come with butt/ heat shrink connectors? If no, what PN works in this application? Is it a good idea to place another piece of heat shrink over these for more water protection on my jet ski trailer. PN =?

Hello Dave,
Yes, the Combination LED Trailer Tail Light - Submersible - 6 Function - 11 Diodes - Passenger Side # STL8RGB is the better half to the Combination LED Trailer Tail Light - Submersible - 7 Function - 14 Diodes - Driver Side # STL9RGB.
The lights use 20 gauge wire, so you will need a pack of the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 22-18 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Red - Qty 5 # DW05743-5. When I rewired my boat trailer I went ahead and put Primary Wire Heat-Shrinkable Tubing - 14-10 Gauge - Black - 3/16" Diameter - 6" - Qty 25 # DW05449 over the butt connectors as well. It gives me peace of mind having the extra layer on marine applications.
If you do not have a heat gun, the Trades Pro Dual Range Heat Gun w/ Nozzles - 5-Piece # ALL836717 works great!
Do you have a specific lake you like to go out on? I fish some local Bass tournaments here in Missouri out on the Lake of the Ozarks and Mark Twain Lake.
