Question:

I have a 40ft 2008 forest river 375qbq I am looking to upgrade the landing gear and install a level kit. Which do you recommend? Where is the closest dealer to where I am? I am in round rock texas 78664. Thanks in advance

I recommend installing a leveling system and not worrying about replacing your landing gear. The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 item # LC358590 has front jacks which bolt to your Sandpiper's existing mounting points for its current landing gear. As far as the system's rear jacks they will require drilling to install on your trailer and will work so long your 5th wheel has an 8", 10" or 12" frame.

I really like the Lippert 3.0 System item # LC358590 because of the auto-leveling feature and the touchscreen remote that is usable up to 50' away. It has a support capacity of 5,000 lbs per jack and the rear jacks have 12-1/2" of travel while the front jacks offers 36" of travel.

If you go to the product page of the Lippert 3.0 System item # LC358590 and scroll down below the pics on the left side you'll see a box that says, Locate installers near me. Go ahead and click on it and it will take you to a page where you'll be able to enter your zip code. Once you do this you'll be connected to our network of reputable installers in your area.

If you have any additional questions, go ahead and click on the box below that says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.
