How to Keep Flat Towed Vehicle Battery Topped Off

Question:
I flat towed my 2022 Maverick hybrid for first time using Blue Ox Patriot 2 brake system. Wired direct to battery. All power drained in less than 2 hours driving. Any thoughts? Would be appreciated. And howto prevent this in future Thank you.

Hey Gary, what you'll want is to install a charge line kit on your Maverick with the part # RM-156-25 which will help keep your battery topped off so that the Blue Ox Patriot doesn't drain the battery.
