I have a 2024 Big Tex 16GN flatbed trailer. I want to upgrade all of the suspension components available. I keep having a suspension bolt connected to the leaf spring sheer off. I have replaced it twice.

Hi Conrad! That doesn't sound good, hopefully it didn't cause you too much of a problem when those bolts failed. I would be happy to help you find some upgraded parts. However, we don't have a way of knowing what is on a particular trailer. It looks like you have 8k axles with a slipper spring suspension on there so there isn't a lot that can be swapped out/upgraded. Depending on your bolt measurements you may be able to add wet bolts like # 126B2.
If you can get your leaf spring measurements and add them below I can see if a higher capacity is available in the same length if that is something you want to replace as well. Check out the articles below which explain how to measure your slipper springs and other suspension parts.
To help reduce the strain on the suspension and keep your bolts intact I recommend adding the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs. These will help absorb that road shock and vibration which will help reduce the force running into the bolts and other suspension components. They will also help smooth out the ride and reduce sway. The correct kit depends on whether you have an overslung (leaf spring on top of axle) or underslung (leaf spring running under axle) configuration. For overslung you need the # SS26MV and for underslung # SS33HR. Since you have a tandem axle trailer you will need a quantity of two, one pair for each axle.

Thank you so much for the reply!!! My leaf springs measured about 30 inches long. The leaf is 2 inches wide and there is 6 of them. I have underslung leaf springs.
