Do You Have Repair Tape for RV Roofs?

Updated 05/07/2025 | Published 05/04/2025

Question:

To access my RV drain valves for replacement, I have had to cut the weatherproof membrane. Do you have a product/suggestion when I re-assemble to join the membranes. I really strong weatherproof tape?

I sure do! To repair the cuts you made you'll want to use the Alpha Systems Alphabond Repair Tape for RV Roofs. We have it in multiple sizes which I have listed below. This tape is 30 mil thick and is expected to last 15-20 years depending on the weather conditions it is exposed to. It works great for rips or cuts and is also works as flashing tape for installing RV roof vents.

50' Long x 3" Wide - White item # AL32KV

50' Long x 2" Wide - White item # AL46FJ

10' Long x 4" Wide - White item # AL42KV

What color is your roof?

It is not the roof. It is the large plastic like piece under the trailer. It is black. I can use the black alpha tape

@Jean-marcL My bad! I saw membrane and went directly to roof. The 50' Long x 2" Wide - Black item # AL38FJ or 50' Long x 3" Wide - Black item # AL52KV will work below your trailer as well. I recommend using some rubbing alcohol to clean off the areas you're taping back together and letting it draw before applying the tape.
