Question:
I have a 2016 colorado going to flat tow behind class A . I have a invisibrake and I have a brake buddy. My question is this if you disconnect the battery where do you get the power to work the brake unit and which do you recommend using?

Expert Reply:
Hey Douglas! You can still get power directly from the battery for the brake system even with the disconnect # RM-766. I recommend using the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 since it is a permanent installation and you won't have to set it up each time. You will need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 to power it. Do you have the rest of your flat towing parts picked out yet?
