Question:
I bought Peterson piranha led replacements for Peterson pm130. The old ones only have 2 wires and new ones have 3. Do I just tape off the red one and only use black and white?

Hi Adam; the Peterson Piranha LED Clearance and Side Marker Trailer Light # M353A and # M353R you bought have an additional turn signal function. If you don't care about this function and only want them to act as side marker lights you can tape off the red turn signal wire like you said. If you want to use that functionality you will have to run extra wire and tap into the turn signal running back to the tail lights.

Hi Adam, did you decide to use the red wire for the turn signal function on your Peterson Piranha LED lights, or did you tape it off to use them just as side marker lights? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could give others confidence when setting up their lights.
