Question:
Im looking for grease caps/dust caps for a trailer with an odd size. The ID of the bore where the caps seat measures 2.162. If theres nothing thatll properly fit that, I might be able to use the closest size down from that with a sealant/adhesive.

Hey Oscar! That is a solution but you should probably avoid it if possible. Since grease caps are drive in have you tried a slightly larger size? The # F001601 at 2.333" would be the next size up we have but if you can find something closer that would be better. If it is just slightly larger you can try to force it in. You can try the sealant but you really hate to have it fall off if that doesn't work. Have you considered swapping out the hub for one that will use common part sizes? That would also work.

Hey Oscar, did you have a chance to try the slightly larger grease cap or consider swapping out the hub for one that uses common part sizes? I'm curious to know what worked for you, as it could help others facing a similar issue.
