Looking to Add Roadmaster Comfort Ride and MORryde X-Factor Crossmember, are Wet Bolts Compatible?

Updated 04/23/2025 | Published 04/18/2025

Question:

I own a 2022 Crossroads Zinger 280RB. We are considering installing the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers—Tandem 5K Trailer Axles RM-2460-2560 and MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers MR33WR. Are the wet bolts that come with the X-Factor Crossmember compatible with the molybdenum and graphite s on the Comfort Ride leaf springs?

Hello Brandon,

You're putting together a great combo for your 2022 Crossroads Zinger 280RB with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Suspension Kit # RM-2460-2560, and the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR. These two upgrades complement each other really well, one improves ride quality and shock absorption, while the other strengthens your trailer’s frame and helps prevent hanger flex and alignment issues.

As for your question about compatibility: yes, the wet bolts that come with the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember are fully compatible with the molybdenum and graphite-impregnated bronze bushings used in the Roadmaster Comfort Ride kit. These bushings are designed to work in a greased environment, and they’re much more durable than nylon, so they play nicely with standard 9/16" greasable bolts like the ones from MORryde. You won’t run into any material or sizing conflicts between the two kits.

Just make sure everything is greased well during installation, and take a little time to verify that your hangers are straight and aligned properly to avoid any issues down the road.

Getting things all geared up for a big upcoming trip? If so, where are you headed?
