Hello Christopher,
Thank you for all the information—it’s most helpful!
I looked up the specs on the 8-247, and it shows you have a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern. For hubs, you’ll want (4) of the Dexter Trailer Hub & Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 - Pre-Greased # 84546UC3-EZ. These hubs come pre-greased and include new bearings, races, and grease seals.
If you'd like to save a couple of dollars, you could go with our etrailer hubs # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K, which also come pre-greased with the same components.
For the brakes, you’ll need (2) sets of the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes - 10" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 3.5K # 23-468-469. If you’re looking for a more cost-effective option, our etrailer brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA are also self-adjusting and perform very well.
I know some folks prefer to stick with the Dexter brand, but I always like to offer our etrailer alternative as a solid option too.
What are you hauling around in your trailer, fun stuff, or work stuff?
