Can Yakima LowRider Kayak Trailer Be Used For Canoes

Can this be used for canoes? Specifically two Old Town Discovery 158s? They are below the weight and length limits, so I dont see it being an issue, but wanted to make sure I am not missing something. Looking for something to pull behind my soft top Jeep.

Hey Tim! You can definitely use the Yakima LowRider Kayak Trailer # Y82QD to carry your Old Town Discovery 158s. This works with kayaks, canoes, and other watercraft. Since you aren't exceeding the 20' max boat length or 270 lb capacity you have nothing to worry about.
One thing worth mentioning is that it does not come with a trailer jack. If you want one on the tongue of the trailer the KickStand w/ Wheel for Yakima LowRider Kayak Trailer # Y54XD is available separately. If you have any other questions feel free to reply and add a comment below.
