Will Lippert Tailgate Storage System LC404069 Work On Apex Nano 193BHS Travel Trailer?

Question:
I was considering putting a lippert flip down storage rack on my Apex Nano 193BHS but I was told it is unsafe to put these on a pull trailer and they are only suitable for a 5th wheel trailer. Wondering what etrailers thoughts are on this. I don’t want to create an unsafe condition when towing my trailer.

Hello Steve, thanks for reaching out. That is a good question so I ran this by my contact at Lippert. They said the # LC432336 tailgate storage system would be fine to use on a bumper pull travel trailer like your Apex Nano 193BHS. As long as it has a bumper rated for more than 150 lbs, and you stay under 150 lbs total it will be fine to use.
