Hello. We have 2024 Tahoe Premier trim vehicle. It has gas engine and doesn’t have adaptive cruise control. Trying to understand my options for a base plate. Having trouble on my own. Can you suggest what options I have? Regards

Hey James! I checked with our vendors and the correct baseplate for your 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier is the Blue Ox item # BLU58FR. I have linked the installation instructions below and they specifically mention the Premier model right at the top of the first page. We actually installed this base plate on a 2024 Tahoe so I also added the link to it so you can see how to get it set up.

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar item # BX7420
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM26FR if you have incandescent lights or Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM38FR if you have LED lights.
Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25
Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. Thanks Jerred! Very helpful. I see roadmaster has some baseplates that don’t have a connecting bar between the two tow points. Not sure what they call this but wondering if they are equally reliable. They appear easier to install since they are left and right units without the fixed width constraint and manufacturing tolerance potential.
