Can The Yakima DoubleHaul Mount To The Underside Of The Crossbars?

Question:
Can the Yakima Double Haul mount to the underside of the crossbars without being upside down? In other words, can the mounting hardware be place on the top of the rod carrier?

Hello Chris, interesting question. The Yakima DoubleHaul Rooftop Fly Fishing Pole Carrier # Y04087 could technically be mounted under a crossbar by flipping the whole thing upside down. Assuming you had clearance under your crossbars. I really can't recommend using it this way though. It should only be mounted per the instructions which is on top of the crossbars.
