which of the tree pronge is positive and what are the other two ???

Hey Ben, on the back of the Buyers Mini Round Rocker Switch part # 3376391100 the gold prong is the ground circuit, the one furthest from it is the power circuit and the middle circuit is the backlighting for it.

Hey Ben, how did things go with wiring the Buyers mini rocker switch? Knowing if those prong connections worked as expected could help others sorting out the same setup.

So if you want the backlighting function, you jumper POS prong to the middle prong and if you don't want backlighting you leave the middle prong unconnected?

@TimO Yes that would work. But it would be lit all the time which might drain the battery. Normally the backlit circuit would get a wire ran to it from the head light/running light circuit so that it only comes on when either of those circuits are activated.

Oh, BTW, the industry standard for the "gold" prong is for the "hot" wire just like in 110V outlets

@TimO I looked that up and that does check out but for whatever reason on switches like this it's the ground circuit.
