Question:
Hello, I installed the Curt 56336 4 pin harness on my 2020 Durango. I would like to install a 7 pin and use the Echo brake controller. Would i have to run an additional wire to the battery when I install the 7 pin or can I piggy back off the one I installed will the 4 pin kit? Thank you

Hey Andy, thanks for reaching out!
The power wire for the # ETBC7 wiring will need to be separate from the Curt T-Connector # C56336. If not, this circuit could get overloaded, and then you'll be stuck without lights as well as brakes.
You can run the wiring along the same route, but they need their own connection to the battery.
The Curt Echo # C51180 will be a great addition to this setup as well!
Do you have any other questions about the installation?

Hey Andy, how did things go with wiring the 7-way and adding the Echo brake controller to your Durango? Your update could make it easier for others upgrading from a 4-way setup.
