Im looking at the 4 hitches you guys have for 2021 Highlanders. I have an XSE. The fit tool matches me with the four, but on each product page it seems like maybe the hitch doesnt fit the XSE? Can you clarify fit?

Yes, I can! Our fitguide gets confusing like that so I'll be happy to clarify for you. All four hitches you were looking at fit both the XSE and non-XSE models of the 2021 Toyota Highlander.

The best one is going to be the TowSmart Trailer Hitch item # TS56VR. This hitch has been confirmed to fit the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE. It is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 500 lbs maximum tongue weight.

The reason this is the best hitch is because the entire crosstube mounts behind the rear bumper. This leaves only the 2" receiver and the safety chain loops visible.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 119250KIT and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
