Is There a Hitch for 2025 Honda CR-V That Allows Hands Free Liftgate to Function

Question:

Hi there. i am now looking at the Curt 13397 hitch for my 2025 honda crv hybrid touring model vehicle. My vehicle has the tailgate opening kick sensor. Will i lose this feature if i get this hitch installed? or will the installer have to move the sensor ? my wife doesnt want to lose this feature and no one seems to be able to answer this Honda has an adapter piece apparently but dont want to spend extra$$ on it.. i heard sensor kick sensor works even though the curt 13397 is installed...is this true and other sites says no it doesnt Can the sensor be moved? or installation of the curt 13397 wont effect anything?

Hey Manning, I checked the reviews for all of the hitches we offer for your 2025 Honda CR-V and all of them except one had people tell us their hands free liftgate stopped working. The only hitch we offer that allows it to still function is the Draw Tite part # DT79MR so that would be what I would recommend.

What are you planning on using the hitch for?

I intend to use it for ebike bike hitch And some light uhaul trailer towing . What wiring kit you recommend ? Do you ship to Canada ? If so how much and how long it takes ?

@ManningC For wiring I would recommend the Tekonsha kit part # 118741 as it has easiest install and most reliable converter box. We do ship to Canada but I am not able to give shipping quotes. If you go through the check out process you will see that info though.
