Hello Jamie, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88388 are correct for your 2024 Chevy 1500 ZR2. The internal jounce bumpers are technically not required, but they are a nice addition to have. Like you said, they act as a failsafe in the event of pressure loss. Losing pressure is rare, but there is definitely a peace of mind factor.
If you plan to tow frequently, I also recommend adding an onboard compressor system like the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL74000. This will allow you to monitor and fill the bags using the Air Lift smartphone app, or you can use the included remote. A worthwhile investment if you plan to tow frequently.
Take a look at the videos I linked below. Leave a reply with any other questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Hey Jamie, how did the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 springs work out on your ZR2 1500? Did they give you the smoother ride you were hoping for when running empty? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same system.
