What is the Extended Vertical Height of the Brophy Scissor Steps part # SS03

Question:
We have built a deck that sets out from our 2011 Silverado3. It is 35-36inch high - will these steps mount on that height. I think I understand that the bracket would actually be 5inch above the first top step and the first step itself is actually the 30inch maximum height. If correct...they would be perfect for us. So is the 30inch measured from the top bracket or the first step?

The extended vertical height of the Scissor Steps part # SS03 is 30 inches from the top bracket. Based on that this product should work very well for what you are doing since the height you are looking for steps for is 35-36 inches.
