Heavy Duty Shackle Kit that is 2-1/4 inch in Length for 2025 Cougar MLE Travel Trailer

Question:

I am considering upgrading my existing 2025 Cougar MLE travel trailer suspension. It currently has the Road Armor suspension, but I want to get the heavier duty shackles and wet bolts. It seems I could buy bronze bushings from you which ones?, but I’m confused because I can’t what seems to be the correct shackle upgrade kit. Your kit “ Lippert AP Kit - Tandem Axle Road Armor Wet Bolts and Shackles Part Number: LC52SV” seems correct, BUT the holes in my existing shackles are 2 1/4”, not the longer 3 1/2” ones in this kit. Do you have another kit I cannot find?

Hey Shawn, the shackle kit you are looking for is the part # MR46ZR which comes with heavy duty shackles that are 2-1/4 inches long, bronze bushings, and wet bolts. It will work great with your Road Armor setup as well.
