Question:
I would like to get information on a good wiring harness for my 2016 Honda Odyssey. Im looking to purchase a pop up camper. Im assuming that it would be a 7 pin connector so that the pop up has brakes on it. Some of the lighter ones do not but I guess its best to have than not to.

Hey Robert, I can tell you've done your homework as you are correct you would need a 7-way if the pop up has brakes so that you can activate its brakes. So since there are only 4-way kits available for your 2016 Honda Odyssey what you'd first need is a 4-way like the part # 118521 which is custom fit for your Odyssey. Then you'd need to convert it to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 which also comes with everything needed to wire in a brake controller. For a standard brake controller the P2 part # 90885 is a great option that will work for years.
If you wanted something a little nicer I really like the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED52VR as it only puts a small knob on your dash.
