Hello, I am looking at purchasing a Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box. What unit would I need? Here is the info I have off the white sticker from pin box frame: LCI item 2021100091 RPO - 0007150242 S/N: S007732465 The hitch weight hovers around 3050-3250 Thank you

Hey Brian thanks for getting all that info over to us! I was able to forward this to Lippert and they let me know that you have a Lippert 1621 pin box so the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box # GY46FR would work great.

This pin box will directly replace your 1621 pin box, has a 30,000 lb capacity, and has a 3,500 to 5,500 lb pin weight rating.

What kind of trailer do you have? Any plans when the weather warms up a bit? Feel free to let me know if there is anything else I can do for you!

Bryce, I think I worded want I want wrong. I am looking for the Gen Y that would utilize my factory installed puck system in my truck . The truck came witha ball that gets inserted into the bed of the truck. That way I have much more room in the bed of the truck. Is that considered a gooseneck style pin box?

@Brian Hey Brian no worries. Yes, the Gen-Y # gy38fr is a 5th wheel to Gooseneck pin box so it'd work if you had a 5th wheel trailer but a Gooseneck hookup in your truck.
