Can Air Pressure Reading of TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System be Adjusted/Compensated
Updated 02/10/2025 | Published 01/31/2025 >
Question:
I have a TST Tire monitoring system. Some of the sensors read the wrong pressure. Is there a way I can adjust the sensors to read the correct pressure?

Hey Louis, the sensors in the TST system you have are not adjustable to compensate like you are asking about. Best bet is to be aware of how far off they are (hopefully not too much) and then use that info to determine if they need air or not. This is pretty common actually as I have found out. Our RAV4 was showing 22 and 23 PSI in the display system and when I went out tested them to put air in them they actually have 25 and 26 psi. How far off are yours?

Thank you for the reply. At 85lb. the worst one is 5 lbs. off. Personally if I would have designed these I would have made them adjustable. They cost a lot of money not to be able to adjust. I use a glycerin filled gauge which I have verified the pressure with other means. But to have all different pressures is not cool. And the price should reflect for that reason. If I were younger I would make a better system and retire as a rich person. Of course not your fault. I'm not mad but highly disappointed in the product. Thank you very much for your knowledge, and I love your company. I shop with you guys a lot.
