Recommended Hitch for a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander

Question:

I am supposed to pick up a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander in a few weeks. I dont see an etrailer branded hitch for that model. Will you be making an etrailer 2-inch hitch for the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander soon? I prefer your hitches over the years because of the Missouri connection, but you also do a good job so that only the receiver shows and not the entire bar.

Hey James congrats on your new SUV. As of 1/27/2025 there is not a etrailer branded hitch for the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander and I do not know if there will be one. The only option currently is the Curt Hitch item # C26VV you were looking at.

The Curt Hitch item # C26VV is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver, that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 500 lbs maximum tongue weight. I really like this hitch because the crosstube is hidden behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver exposed.

Hey James, how did the Curt hitch work out on your new Grand Highlander? It sounds like the hidden crosstube design should give you the clean look you prefer. Sharing how it turned out could help others waiting on a similar option.
