what are the dimensions of the converter when removed from its metal box?

Hey Robert, that is an interesting question. The converter is not meant to be removed from the metal box, so I am afraid that dimension is not something we have on file. I can tell you the box itself is 13-1/4" long x 8" deep x 5-3/8" wide. I would have to take one and disassemble it to give you more precise measurements, but measuring with the unit still inside the box it looks to be about 11" long, 7" deep and 4.5" tall.
