Series 6300A Model 6332 Magnetek Replacement Converter

Question:

I want to replace the converter with battery charger in my holiday trailer...which one should i try and is the wiring conection going to b the same as my model 6332 Magnetek

For a new converter, the Replacement Converter for Parallax/Magnetek or WFCO RV Power Centers part # PD4635V will be a direct upgrade replacement for the Magnetek Converter Series 6300 Model 6332 that you have now.

Yes I bought the PD 4635 V replacement for my model 6300 A model 6332 and hooked it up as per the instructions now three weeks down the road I have a wire that is getting extremely hot I believe it goes to the 12 V outlet. It has a fuse in the middle of it. And now none of my 12 V accessories work. What do I do? The converter required is still working as far as all my 110 outlets working but none of my 12 V accessories are working. I can send you a picture if that would be helpful

@SheilaD It's hard to diagnose from here but I would recommend not using it until you can get an electrician out there to find the problem. It sounds like maybe there is a short somewhere on the hot wire which is causing problems elsewhere.
